A message from our Athletic Director

It is our philosophy that all students should participate in a sport or designated extracurricular activity after classes. While we realize that not all students wish to participate in competitive sports, we acknowledge the life lessons and camaraderie that can be achieved by being part of a team.

Accordingly, we ensure that the athletic experience is accessible and enjoyable to all of our students, with more than two dozen sub-varsity teams to choose from as well as intramural activities.

We offer varsity teams in football, soccer, cross country, hockey, basketball, wrestling, swimming, squash, skiing, riflery, baseball, lacrosse, track and field, tennis, and golf. These teams compete in the prestigious Founders League alongside Choate, Hotchkiss, Kent, Loomis Chaffee, Kingswood-Oxford, Taft, Trinity-Pawling, and Westminster.

In many sports, our record of success is exceptional. Our hockey, soccer, lacrosse, baseball, track, skiing, and golf teams have all captured league or New England Championships in recent years. These programs, along with many others, are recognized on a national level, and regularly gain attention from college and professional scouts.

Our coaching staff is comprised of extraordinarily skilled and dedicated individuals, and they have played an integral role in helping many of our boys move on to th
